Description
Garuda, depicted in pratyalidha, with his right hand raised. In his left hand is a kalasha (water pot) containing a plant. Two wings grow from his shoulders. On his forehead is a Vaishnava namam (emblem) and his nose is shaped like a kite’s beak. A dagger, with a decorative pearl tassel hanging from the hilt, is stuck in his belt. Two snakes are coiled around his calves and a large serpent hangs from his shoulders. On his feet he wears padukas (wooden clogs).
